I’m going to take few days off from hunting down and sharing deals because I’m headed to Chicago for a much-needed girls trip. My D/FW readers have probably heard all the hype about the expiration of the Wright amendment on Monday, Oct. 13th, which had been restricting nonstop service from Love Field to airports in eight other states for the past 34 years. This summer, Southwest Airlines had a big sale, in anticipation of this momentous occasion, and I got a round trip, non-stop flight for just $198. Woo-who!
